Cave of Miracles

Born from the combined energy of Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Kali, Vaishno Devi took human form to restore dharm during a dark age. She lived as a humble devotee, meditating in the Trikuta Hills, but her radiance and power drew the attention of Bhairavnath, a tantric who mistook her for mortal.
After a long chase through mountains and forests, she retreated into a sacred cave, where she transformed into her fierce form and beheaded Bhairavnath. But in her compassion, she also forgave him, granting him salvation and a shrine near her own.
Inside the cave, she resides as three sacred pindis, symbolizing her trinity of forms.
